How it works
Keeping the cut end of your Christmas tree’s trunk under water is key to having a beautiful tree all season long, so we don’t rely on siphons or upside down soda bottles. Christmas Tree Butler continuously measures how much water is in your stand and delivers water as soon as it gets too low, and stops as soon as it’s full again. Fido and Mr. Whiskers can even drink from the stand and Christmas Tree Butler will keep filling it up!
Christmas Tree Butler’s patented design means you’ll no longer have to climb under the tree to refill the stand, breaking branches and knocking down ornaments as you go. And the 2.5 gallon reservoir can supply the average 7’ tree with water for several days so you have the freedom to go away for the weekend and not worry about watering your Christmas tree.
Set Up
Setting up your Christmas Tree Butler is easy and only take a few moments:
- Fill your tree stand the first time, ensuring there are no leaks and your stand is level
- Fill Christmas Tree Butler’s reservoir with water
- Place the lid on the reservoir and Insert the Control Tower
- Insert the Tree Attachment into your tree stand, making sure the “Fill To” line is below the top of the water
- Secure the Tree Attachment to the tree by wrapping the shock cord around the trunk and snapping into the cleat
- Plug the power adapter into the Control Tower and the wall outlet
Maintaining Your Tree
Christmas Tree Butler maintains the water level in your tree stand for you! Instead of climbing under your tree twice a day, keep an eye on the water level in Christmas Tree Butler’s translucent reservoir from across the room.
When the reservoir gets low, a gentle beep alerts you it’s time to refill the reservoir. Simply pour water through our easy-fill lid, or carry it to and from the kitchen sink with the easy-carry handholds.
Once the reservoir is filled, your Christmas Tree Butler is ready to maintain your Christmas tree for another week or longer!
Safe
Christmas Tree Butler only needs the use of the included 9 Volt power adapter to operate. Not only is it safe to use near water, but it’s also inexpensive to run!

The Tree Attachment
At the heart of Christmas Tree Butler is The Tree Attachment, which monitors and delivers water to your tree stand. After years of engineering, we have developed a solution which is not only easy to attach to your tree, but also works with nearly any tree stand available on the market!
Tilt-Proof
As an extra safety precaution, the Tree Attachment houses a tilt sensor which will stop the flow of water if the Tree Attachment is removed from your tree stand. Even if your cat pulls the whole tree over (and it happened to us!), the tilt sensor will keep the reservoir from being emptied onto your gifts and floor.
